*As a Yahoo! Shine Beauty Guru, I get a beauty assignment each month that I also post here. To see this review on shine, visit here!*
For the Shine Beauty Guru’s, this month was all about the hair! I got to test the Braun Satin Hair brush with Active Ion Technology. I was pumped. Who can’t use new hair brush, plus when it says “satin hair” who wouldn’t be on board? Let’s break it down.

The Braun Satin Hair brush boasts, “an active ion jet releases millions of active ions creating a halo around your hair. Active ions work very much like a conditioner. They instantly tame frizz and flying hair for touchable smoothness compared to brushes without Active Ion Technology.”
My first hair that used Ion technology was amazing for my hair….so I was hoping this would have the same kind of major change. IT DOES!! After the first brushing, you can immediately tell a difference. My hair was softer and smoother than it is when I use a product. For my hair, it isn’t a brush I can use multiple times a day. It got too greasy, too fast. BUT this brush is perfect for “finishing” your hair style. If you want a sleek pony, use it. A sleek hair down style, use it! It wouldn’t be my first pick to actually fix my hairstyle. It made it too slick!! As the finishing touch it’s perfect, you get sleek and shiny hair instantly. After a day with curled hair, I brushed through the curls with the Satin brush to make a sleek wavy look for night. No frizzies either!!
I can also tell that it has helped the ends of my hair, which tend to break alot. They feel stronger and healthier after using this brush for a month. That’s because the brush is “anti-damaging with seamless bristle technology. It helps prevent damage and damage to the scalp.” It also turns itself off, so you don’t waste batteries!
This brush is definitely a winner for me. At a price of $65, it is more of an investment for sleek and shiny hair. It would make a great gift to give or get….so add it to your Christmas list NOW!

2. Carrie’s wardrobe. While beatiful, it was completely unfitting. To go to the market in the Middle East she wears an “J’adore Dior” t-shirt and a lavender hoop skirt. I don’t care if its designer. She looked stupid. Heels in the sand? I get the head wraps, bright colors etc. But it was just too much.
