Have you heard of The Beauty Department?
It’s only my new favorite beauty go to site! I stumbled upon some of their great tutorials through pinterest and tracked the sources down to The Beauty Department. From makeup tips to hair how to’s, they have you covered. And its not random, untrusted names!
Here’s the low down:
“This is a site for anyone who’s ever had a beauty question or gotten into a fight with a hair brush and lost. We’ll be covering all kinds of hair+makeup how-to’s, nail trends, skin issues, tools, current obsessions & inspirations, as well as countless quick tips. In the process we are truly excited to get to know all of you! We want to read your emails and we want you to participate in our voting polls so we can figure out exactly what you need! You read that right! LAUREN CONRAD. She’s a personal favorite celeb of mine and now she’s using her celebrity power in the name of beauty! She teamed up with her professional hair stylist (Kristen Ess) and makeup artist (Amy Nadine) to for The Beauty Department. So it is sources you can actually trust with insider knowledge!
They post every day and they include such fun stuff as:
They’ve got video makeup and hair tutorials to die for! The latest…the french braid! I also learned how to do a fishtail braid from their tutorials! Easy to understand and great to watch it done. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve paused, rewound, and rewatched quite a few of these videos!
I have to say I can’t get enough of this site. I scroll through tutorials quite often to find inspiration and even their tweets with beauty tidbits are awesome!
