This would have been the last 30×30 post

But I gave up before I was able to post this. Hubs and I had the same day off last week. No, it was not planned. We decided to go to the zoo and took our handy dandy camera along. These are the outfit photos that followed!

Does this shirt look familiar? Its actually this dress. Rolled up and tied into a knot.

Jeans: Jbrand Black Denim Leggings

Shoes: Black/Gray Boat shoe Crocs

…yes CROCS! They might just be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I just love that the don’t look like those horrible rubber clog shoes.

I had to include some of the animals too.

Hubs took some sneaky shots which turned out well.

Why I’m ending my 30×30 now..

I’m ending my 30×30 challenge.

But you’re only on day 17!

Yes, I realize that. I’ve decided to end early.

End Early? Isn’t that quitting?

Yes. Yes, it is.

Ladies and Gentleman, I am a quitter. When I think about it, there are very few things that I’ve ever quit in my life. This is one of them. I really didn’t think this challenge was going to be that hard. It was.

Maybe its because of my inexperience with any such challenge, ever..

Maybe it was the fact that the choices I made were too plain..

Maybe it was the weather..70 degrees one day and 19 the next..

Maybe its because about 12 days in my heart wasn’t in it..

Maybe its my new disgust for these clothes (sad because some of these are my fave pieces)..

It took a lot of thought to decide to quit, because I’m usually not. I’m disappointed and kind of ashamed of myself. I know I’m not the only one who’s every quit. But its so not me. Hopefully, you’re not too disappointed in me too. I hope that none of you abandon ship on me either. I still hope to do the challenge later this year. We’ll see.

Days 15-17 of the challenge

So I’ve gotten super behind on outfits for 30×30. I’ve worn quite a few but haven’t taken photos. So today I donned a few and snapped pictures. Here are outfits 15-17 of my 30×30 challenge.

Shirt: Mossimo White Pocket Tee

Jeans: (my skinny jeans got a hole in them so I had to replace for the rest of the challenge) PacSun Denim Skinny

Boots: Steve Madden Cadence Boots

Scarf: Gift from friend years ago

Day 16:

Shirt: Black Forever 21 Silk Tank

Cardigan: Silver & Cream Patterned Cardi from Target

Jeans: BKE Boot Cut Jeans

Shoes: Pointed Black Flats from Payless

Necklace: Charm pendant.

So ends Day 16…

Day 17:

Tank: Pink Rosette Tank from F21

Jeans: JBrand Black Leggings

Shoes: Silver Knot Payless flats..

at least this gets me a little closer to my ending goal…13 days to go!

Boots and Belts

So this is the first time I’ve worn this dress in this challenge. Why I don’t really know. I must admit, this challenge has been difficult for me. My shirt choices and the crazy weather have made me depressed about these clothes. That being said, I still have 15 outfits to go. I haven’t been wearing 30×30 clothes everyday, but I’ve tried to wear some of my items daily. I’ve been taking pictures when I’m wearing almost all 30×30 items. Like today…er…at least for a little while. I’ve thought about giving up, but I’m not a quitter. We’ll have 30 outfits for 30×30 but it might take a little longer than expected. So here is outfit 14…..

This was from Sunday. I didn’t wear this very long but there is reason.

Sunday was family day, off to visit our 8 week old niece. I woke up put on this nice outfit and went on getting ready. Hubs passed by and said, “You’re not wearing that to see the baby, are you?” *le sigh*

He was right. Sometimes I let my want to wear cute outfits get in the way of common sense. But at least I got a few pictures. Then I changed.

So remember for outfit 7 I mentioned that I wouldn’t wear my yellow dress because its too long. Today, I replaced it with this Forever 21 Peach Lace Top. Again. I didn’t have the greatest attitude for these pictures. I NEED to start taking these in the morning when I feel better about myself.
