What is this place?

The Fierce Glamour was started in December 2008 as a way for me to channel my passion for everything fashion and beauty related during the time of transitioning from college to the real world.  To share, advise, learn and love everything I buy, wear and see is my goal!  From clothes, accessories, makeup, hair, home projects, and design, I love a little bit of it all.

Some posts are also featured on Yahoo! Shine, where I was chosen as a Beauty Guru for the Fashion & Beauty channel. The support from the editors and comments from users make me more determined everyday to bring my readers better content and information! Of course, the editor picks and homepage features are sweet rewards to all the effort!

I’m also a regular blogger for BSCENE magazine. “Everything that IS East Texas.” You can find my posts under the “blogs” page!

What does a fashion/beauty blogger look like?

Most of the time, I think its not me.  But the great thing about blogging is you get to be yourself.  I’m myself.  Though some days that’s not always the most fashionable person I can be.  A fashion blogger doesn’t have a certain face.  We are each our own with our own sense of style.  Mine includes a little bit of matchy-matchy, preppy, sporty, and another part of still figuring it out.  Good thing is it changes and evolves. Michelle, who are you and why do your write?

Great question! I write because fashion and beauty are my chocolate!

I love reviewing products, making diy’s, redoing my house, finding good deals, and now outfit posts.

A few personal notes:

I listen to news radio in the car and at work, but I go home and watch trashy tv shows like “The Real Housewives” series and VH1, I love to work with my hands and make things even if I get dirty, but I love to dress up and go out even if it takes hours. I’ve gone skydiving(BLUE SKIES!) but I’ll cry on top of  a ferris wheel. I’m a beautiful mix of contradictions.
